Recently, I'm reading this book called : Different Children, Different Needs.
Sound like a parenting book. Yes, indeed I will say. However, I find that I is also very applicable to us and the people around us.That set me thinking.... about my life, my relationship, the people I encounter with etc..... I could see a glimpse of what the author meant when he said: "we are all different. God created us that way." We are to accept the person as who they are and not what WE WANT THEM TO BECOME. Great! if we can change for the better and we should. But however, something in life we cant because we are just been hardwired that way. eg. It is quite hard for me not to help that poor and the weak. Because that is in my DNA. My AMAZING PARENTS from young taught me to care for them from our heart and always make room for people who are different from us.
Everyone has their own stories... :)
Acceptance is very important! to me Acceptance = to love a person truly as who they are and even they make mistake which will definitely happen... no one is perfect. We are also to accept them as who they are 1sts and lovingly tell or help them to overcome.
Sudden outbursts of anger = punishment. That I very agree with one of the message I heard over sun sermon. On the receiving end it can be worst then death especially when it come from a person you love or love you alot. The pain is liken to someone taking a knife and cut through the heart slowing from the tip to then end. The heart just keep on bleeding. This will definitely take a long time to heal....
When we accept the person as who they are and not what the SHOULD be. This will ease out alot of frustration on our end. This is call: EXPECTATION MANAGEMENT! :) and Beware of Judgement from you heart towards that person because the ends is always very hurting for both you and that person. :)
*Disclaimer:- Accepting the person does not meant you accept their acts.
Key: To always try ask much as possible to articulate our emotion to our love one. We words like: " I feel upset because .....", " I am not comfortable with the way..... ". Do not worry about if the other person do not response in that manner, because we all need time to change and we need example to follow. This will also ensure that our emotion is not LOCK UP!

"Searching for Success"
Recently, a friend of mine post this question " Searching for Success".
What is "Success" ? To my opinion Success is very much to to with contentment. It can be status, money, helping others, family etc.... To me, above all things, is that I have love one to share with my ups and downs. No matter at which point of my life, they still love and care about me as who I am. Even means they may not approve some of the things I do, but because the love they have for me they will be patient and help me. Of course, finances security is also important as it will ease out a lot of unnecessary tension.
Mother Teresa? Is successful? To me yes, she may not be rich in terms of money, She is rich in her compassion and she is generous to share it with all... Is then Warren Buffet successful? To me yes, to in his shoe he had obtain financial security for himself and through his experience he helps others.... He quite amazing... I'm half way through with his biography.... :)
